Good morning everyone! Thought I would share with you what I have been up to the last couple of weeks. I have a rather large wall in my dining room and wanted to make a quilt to place on the wall. So, I decided to research different designs and came across one called “Carpenter star” and really liked it a lot. At that point, I decided to do a trial run and see what the design would look like when I finished it, and I liked it a lot. Now, I just need to decide on what colors I will use, and which boarders, I will put around the quilt. Well guess I had better sign off for now. Until next time, happy quilting.
That’s a terrific block. You’ve reminded me it’s on my ‘must make’ list.
This is going to be lovely!!!
That looks so good. Love the green & black. My boys fav colours. What size did you make this one. The practice was a great idea.
Donna, thank you! The size of the quilt is 56×68. It was not that hard to make and I had fun with it. When you get a chance give it a try. Hope all is well with you!
I really want to make one and I will…
Sharon, I can’t believe how each one of your projects seems to be harder than the next. I love this pattern….excited to see what it looks like in the colors you pick for your dining room
