Ranch Style Bean Casserole

You may be wondering what to cook for dinner so here is one of my recipes that is easy to make and will also freeze well too. The recipe can be made into two casseroles if you wish.


1 1/4 lbs. ground beef  – I use lean ground round.

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1/2 cup water

1 cup ketchup

2 (1 lb.) cans pork & beans

1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans – drained

2 Tablespoons of prepared mustard

2 tsp. vinegar

Now here is the easy part: Brown the meat, skim off the fat. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Then pour into 2 quart casserole. Bake 400 degrees  for 30 minutes. You may add cheese if you wish.
